Monthly

Prices in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. One plan, no tiers.

There is one plan, and every window and door company on it gets the same thing. It costs CA$249 a month, plus a one-off setup fee of CA$499 that pays for designing and building your site. Both are shown plus applicable taxes.

The monthly fee is what keeps the site working after launch day: hosting, the security certificate, patches, up to 5 edits done for you and a report of the quote requests it sent you. That is the part a one-off build leaves you to handle yourself.

The minimum term is 12 months, counted from the day your site goes live. After that, the plan runs month to month and either side can end it with written notice.

Nothing on this site is priced any other way: no tiers, no launch discount, no “from” price that grows later. If you ask for work outside the plan, such as a new kind of page or a feature the plan doesn’t cover, we tell you the price in writing first, and nothing is charged unless you agree.

About tax

Prices are shown before sales tax because the tax depends on your province and on the supplier’s registration. The Competition Bureau’s guidance lets a price leave out charges imposed by government, such as sales tax 1 , but not other fees. There are no other fees.

Five things the fee is there to fix

Each line of the plan is there because one of these costs a window and door company measure appointments.

  1. The product range sits in a brochure PDF. The plan gives each window and door type its own page a homeowner can find and compare.
  2. The contact form asks for a message. The plan replaces it with a quote form that asks about openings, quantity, house type and timing.
  3. Nobody can tell which towns you install in. The plan names them on a service area page linked from the form and the footer.
  4. The gallery stopped the day the site launched. New installs go up as part of your monthly edits, captioned with the product and the house.
  5. Nobody knows whether the site brings in work. The monthly report counts the quote requests and messages it sent you.

What the monthly fee covers, line by line

Included
ItemWhat it is, and why it matters
Website build Designed and built from your content, live within 14 days of a complete checklist. You review every page before launch, so nothing goes public that you haven’t seen.
Pages for your products Window types, doors, service areas, a project gallery, about and contact. Homeowners search by product, so each product type gets a page that can be found on its own.
Quote request form Asks for the openings, quantity, home type and timeline, and sends it to your inbox. Your office stops calling back just to ask what the homeowner wants.
Hosting Your site on fast static hosting. No hosting account, renewal notice or separate bill.
SSL certificate The padlock and https address, renewed automatically. Browsers warn visitors away from forms without it.
Security updates We keep the site’s code and dependencies patched. There are no plugins for you to update.
Content edits Up to 5 changes a month to existing pages: new installs, products, hours, towns, seasonal notes. The site stays current without becoming your job.
Inquiry report Each month, the number of quote requests and messages the site sent you, so you can judge it on work, not on looks.
Search basics Page titles, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap, set up at build so search engines can read every page. No ranking is promised, because nobody can honestly promise one.

What the plan doesn’t cover

Not included
ItemWhy, and what to do instead
Paid ads and ad spend Google Ads or social ads are a separate service with their own budget. The site can receive that traffic, but we don’t run campaigns.
Logo and brand design We use your existing logo. If you don’t have one, a clean text wordmark of your business name is used until you do.
Writing your content You supply words, photos, product details and prices. The content checklist tells you what to send, and we lay it out.
Domain registration fees The domain is registered in your business name and you pay the registrar directly, so it stays yours.

Nothing else is charged. Work outside the plan is quoted in writing first and only done if you agree.

How the monthly edits work

  • An edit is one change you ask for on an existing page: new install photos, a product line added, holiday hours, three more towns.
  • Up to 5 are included every month. Unused edits don’t carry over.
  • You email the change. We make it and tell you when it is live. There is no admin panel for you to learn.
  • New page types, extra features or a redesign are outside the plan. We quote them in writing first, and nothing is charged unless you agree.

Examples of what counts as one edit

Setup, term, cancelling and your domain

When you pay
The setup fee is invoiced when you sign up. The monthly fee starts from the month your site goes live, not before.
Minimum term
12 months from the day your site goes live.
After the minimum term
Month to month. Either side ends it with written notice before the next billing date; it finishes at the end of the paid month.
Leaving during the term
You can give notice, and the remaining monthly fees for the minimum term stay payable.
If we breach the terms
If we seriously breach the plan terms and don’t fix it within 14 days of your written notice, you can leave without paying the rest of the term.
Setup fee
Pays for the build. Not refunded once the build has started, except where the law says otherwise.
Price changes
Only after the minimum term, with at least 30 days’ written notice. You can leave before a new price starts.
Your domain and content
The domain is registered in your business name and the words and photos you supply stay yours. If you leave, we send you a copy of your content on request and help you point the domain wherever you choose.

The full wording is in the plan terms.

What a year on the plan costs

Before tax, at the published price. No figure here changes once you sign.

Cost by period

Four questions owners raise on the call

“I already paid for a site that never worked.”

Here the price, scope and edits are written down before you start, and you approve the site before launch. If we seriously breach the terms and don’t fix it in 14 days, you can leave.

“I’m not technical.”

You don’t need to be. You answer the checklist, send photos and check the preview on your phone. Edits are an email.

“What do I have to supply?”

Business details, your service area, the products you install, photos of your work, and the prices or ranges you want shown. The content checklist lists it all.

“What if I want to leave?”

After 12 months, give notice before the next billing date. Your domain and the content you supplied stay yours, and we help you move.

Questions about the price

What does the website plan cost?

CA$249 a month plus a one-off setup fee of CA$499, plus applicable taxes. That is the whole price list. There is one plan, with no tiers, no add-on bundles, no launch discount and no "from" price that grows once you are signed. The minimum term is 12 months from the day your site goes live, then the plan runs month to month.

Which taxes are added to the price?

Prices are shown before sales tax. Depending on your province, GST, HST, PST or QST may apply. The tax on your invoice depends on where your business is and on the registration of the business that supplies the plan, which is named on this site before launch. We don't print a tax rate we can't confirm for your province.

Can I cancel during the first 12 months?

You can give written notice at any time, but the monthly fees for the rest of the 12-month minimum term stay payable. That is the trade for a published monthly price instead of a large build invoice. The exception: if we seriously breach the plan terms and don't fix it within 14 days of you telling us in writing, you can end the plan without paying the rest of the term.

What happens after the 12-month minimum term?

The plan continues month to month at the same price unless we give you at least 30 days of written notice of a change, and you can end it before any new price starts. Either side can end the plan with written notice before the next billing date. It finishes at the end of the month already paid for. No exit fee, no renewal lock-in.

Who owns the domain name?

Your business does. The registration goes in your business name, with your business as the registrant, and you pay the registrar yourself. If you already hold a domain, it keeps working: we aim it at the new build, so the address printed on your trucks and quotes never changes. If the plan ends, we help you move the domain wherever you want it.

Who owns the words and photos on my site?

Your business keeps ownership of everything it supplies: the text, photos of your installs, your logo, product details and prices. We keep the rights in our own code and templates. When the plan ends, we send you a copy of the content you supplied on request, so your install photos and product write-ups are never stuck with us.

What happens to my site if I leave?

We stop hosting it at the end of the notice period, send you the content you supplied on request, and help you point your domain to a new host. Because we keep the rights in our code and design system, the built site itself isn’t transferred. Your words, photos, logo and domain are yours and go with you.

Where is my customers’ information stored?

Inquiries from your site are sent to you and handled by us only to deliver them, keep the site secure and count them for your monthly report. We don’t sell them, use them for our own marketing or pass them to another business. We handle personal information in line with PIPEDA, and the privacy policy lists the service providers involved.

What does the monthly report show?

How many quote requests and messages your website sent you that month. It counts inquiries; it doesn’t claim what they turned into, because only you know which ones became jobs.
