Getting started and the build

2.1 How long does it take to get my site live?

Within 14 days of us receiving your content. The clock starts once we have the items on the content checklist: business details, the towns and regions you install in, the products you sell, photos, the prices or price ranges you want shown, and access to your domain. If something is missing, we tell you exactly what, and the clock starts when it arrives. Nothing goes live until you have approved the preview.

2.2 What does the quote request form ask?

The questions you would otherwise ask on the first phone call: which openings (windows, entry door, patio door), roughly how many, the type of home, the timeline, the town, and how to reach the homeowner. Submissions go to your email. Each form states what the homeowner’s details are used for, which matters under Canadian privacy law.

2.3 Can I show reviews from my customers?

Yes, where they are real. We can link to your Google Business Profile reviews and place customer quotes you have written permission to publish. We never write, edit or invent reviews. The Competition Act requires a testimonial to have been made by the person and approved for publication, and your site follows that rule.

2.4 Do I need to be technical?

No. You answer the content checklist, send photos and approve the design. When something changes, you email the edit you want. There is no website builder to learn, no plugins to update and no login you have to remember.

2.5 What happens straight after I book a call?

You get a confirmation with the time. On the call we talk through the products you install, the towns you cover and how inquiries reach you today, and we tell you honestly whether the plan fits. If you go ahead, you receive the plan terms and the content checklist, and the setup fee is invoiced. If you don’t, that is the end of it: no follow-up sequence, no mailing list.

2.6 What do we have to send you before the build starts?

Your business details, the towns and regions you install in, the product types you sell with any model or label details you want shown, photos of finished installs, the prices or ranges you are comfortable publishing, your logo if you have one, and access to your domain. Warranty and financing wording comes from you, because those are your commitments to homeowners.

2.7 Our install photos are rough. Is that a problem?

No. The pages and the gallery are built around whatever photos you have, captioned with the product, the home and the work done, and add better photos as edits once you take them. A few well-captioned installs do more for a homeowner than a stock photo of a window that isn’t yours.

2.8 We have an older site. What becomes of it?

Anything worth keeping becomes part of your content: install photos, product details, wording you are happy with. Once you approve the new build, your domain is aimed at it. Cancelling the old hosting account is yours to do whenever suits, after the new site is running.

Your content and monthly edits

3.1 Do you write the text for my website?

No, and we say so up front. Writing your content is not part of the plan. You supply the words, photos, product details and prices; we structure the pages, lay everything out and put each piece where a homeowner looks for it. The content checklist asks plain questions, such as which products you install and which towns you cover, so the answers are the raw material for the pages.

3.2 What counts as a content edit?

One change you ask for on an existing page: new install photos for the gallery, a new product line, changed hours, an added town in your service area, revised financing wording or a seasonal note. Up to 5 edits a month are included, and unused edits don't carry over. New page types, new features or a redesign are outside the plan: we quote them in writing first, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

3.3 Can my site show ENERGY STAR ratings for the windows I sell?

Yes, where they are true for the model. Your product pages can show the values printed on each model’s label, such as the U-factor and Energy Rating, and can say a model is ENERGY STAR certified if that model is certified in Canada. You supply the model details and confirm them before they are published. We don’t add certification claims ourselves, and this site does not certify, rate or test anyone’s products.

3.4 How do I ask for a change, and how fast is it done?

Email the change you want, with any photos or wording attached. Each request is one edit, and up to 5 are included every month. If a change needs more than a simple edit, such as a new page type, we tell you before any work starts.

3.5 Can the site change with the seasons?

Yes, and it should. Window and door work is seasonal in most of Canada, so a note about fall installs, winter scheduling or spring booking is exactly the kind of change the monthly edits cover. Send the wording, and it goes on the pages where a homeowner will see it.

Price, tax and the report

4.1 What does the website plan cost?

CA$249 a month plus a one-off setup fee of CA$499, plus applicable taxes. That is the whole price list. There is one plan, with no tiers, no add-on bundles, no launch discount and no "from" price that grows once you are signed. The minimum term is 12 months from the day your site goes live, then the plan runs month to month.

4.2 Which taxes are added to the price?

Prices are shown before sales tax. Depending on your province, GST, HST, PST or QST may apply. The tax on your invoice depends on where your business is and on the registration of the business that supplies the plan, which is named on this site before launch. We don't print a tax rate we can't confirm for your province.

4.3 Can I cancel during the first 12 months?

You can give written notice at any time, but the monthly fees for the rest of the 12-month minimum term stay payable. That is the trade for a published monthly price instead of a large build invoice. The exception: if we seriously breach the plan terms and don't fix it within 14 days of you telling us in writing, you can end the plan without paying the rest of the term.

4.4 What does the monthly report show?

How many quote requests and messages your website sent you that month. It counts inquiries; it doesn’t claim what they turned into, because only you know which ones became jobs.

Your domain, content and data

5.1 Who owns the domain name?

Your business does. The registration goes in your business name, with your business as the registrant, and you pay the registrar yourself. If you already hold a domain, it keeps working: we aim it at the new build, so the address printed on your trucks and quotes never changes. If the plan ends, we help you move the domain wherever you want it.

5.2 Who owns the words and photos on my site?

Your business keeps ownership of everything it supplies: the text, photos of your installs, your logo, product details and prices. We keep the rights in our own code and templates. When the plan ends, we send you a copy of the content you supplied on request, so your install photos and product write-ups are never stuck with us.

5.3 Where is my customers’ information stored?

Inquiries from your site are sent to you and handled by us only to deliver them, keep the site secure and count them for your monthly report. We don’t sell them, use them for our own marketing or pass them to another business. We handle personal information in line with PIPEDA, and the privacy policy lists the service providers involved.

The term and leaving

6.1 What happens after the 12-month minimum term?

The plan continues month to month at the same price unless we give you at least 30 days of written notice of a change, and you can end it before any new price starts. Either side can end the plan with written notice before the next billing date. It finishes at the end of the month already paid for. No exit fee, no renewal lock-in.

6.2 What happens to my site if I leave?

We stop hosting it at the end of the notice period, send you the content you supplied on request, and help you point your domain to a new host. Because we keep the rights in our code and design system, the built site itself isn’t transferred. Your words, photos, logo and domain are yours and go with you.

Whether the plan fits

7.1 Does the plan include Google Ads or SEO campaigns?

Paid advertising and ad spend are not included. The site is built with a clean page structure, a page per product type and service area, proper titles, descriptions and structured data, so search engines can read what you sell and where. We don’t promise rankings, traffic or a number of inquiries. Google says there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking.

7.2 Will the website get me more jobs?

We can’t promise that, and anyone who promises it is guessing. What the site does is remove the usual reasons a homeowner leaves: products hidden in a PDF, a contact form that asks nothing, no sign of the towns you cover. It shows those things on a fast page that works on a phone, and the monthly report shows how many inquiries came through it.

7.3 Do you build sites for companies outside Canada?

No. This plan is for window and door businesses operating in Canada, and every page, legal document and price is written for Canada. It is sold to businesses only, not to homeowners.

7.4 The last website we paid for went nowhere. What is different here?

The price is fixed and published, the scope is written in the plan terms, and edits are part of the monthly fee instead of separate invoices. You see and approve the site before it goes live. The site is kept up by the people who built it, so it doesn't sit untouched for three years. If we seriously breach the terms and don't fix it within 14 days, you can leave without paying the rest of the term.

7.5 What don’t you do?

We don’t run ads or manage ad budgets, design logos, write your content, sell or share leads, or promise rankings, traffic, inquiries or a page speed score. We are a website studio, not a window company: we don’t give product, installation or energy advice to your customers, and we don’t certify or rate products.

Book a call

Two answers above rest on published rules: Google says it offers no way to request or pay for a better local ranking 1 , and the Competition Act sets the conditions for publishing a testimonial 2 .

Ask the question that isn’t here

A short call covers your products, the towns you install in and what you would need to send. A person answers, nothing is signed on the call, and there is no follow-up sequence if you decide it isn’t for you.

CA$249 a month plus a CA$499 setup fee, plus applicable taxes, 12-month minimum term.
