A different site for each kind of window business

An installer, a dealer and a glass repair shop sell in different ways to different buyers. The plan is the same for all of them; the pages, the quote form and what gets left out are not.

Five kinds of window and door business

Pick the one closest to how you sell. Each page sets out the buyer, the usual faults, the pages the site carries and the questions owners ask.

  1. 01

    Replacement window installers

Retrofit and full-frame window replacement in existing homes.

First page to get right One page per window type

  2. 02

    Entry and patio door installers

Front doors, sidelites, patio and storm doors, supplied and installed.

First page to get right Door styles with finishes and inserts

  3. 03

    Window and door dealers

Authorized dealers selling one or more manufacturers’ product lines.

First page to get right The lines you carry, by manufacturer

  4. 04

    Local window and door manufacturers

Regional fabricators selling direct and through a dealer network.

First page to get right Product series with specification pages

  5. 05

    Glass and sealed-unit repair shops

Foggy sealed units, broken glass, screens and hardware repairs.

First page to get right Problem pages in the homeowner’s words

How the sites differ

One trade, organized three or four ways. A layout drawn for every trade at once cannot do this.

Main difference by business
BusinessOrganized aroundQuote form starts with
Replacement window installers Windows, Retrofit or full-frame What are you replacing?
Entry and patio door installers Entry doors, Patio doors Which door?
Window and door dealers Product lines, Model pages Are you a homeowner or a contractor?
Local window and door manufacturers Product series, Specifications Who are you?
Glass and sealed-unit repair shops Foggy sealed units, Broken glass What is the problem?

For scale: Statistics Canada counted 1,277 1 glass and glazing contractor locations with employees in December 2025. That count leaves out window and door retailers and dealers, which are classed as retail, and businesses without employees.

What stays the same, whichever you are

  • One price: the plan, the setup fee and the 12-month minimum term are identical for every business.
  • The site is live within 14 days of receiving your completed content checklist.
  • Hosting, SSL and security updates are handled for you.
  • Up to 5 content edits a month, for new photos, products, dealers or seasonal notes.
  • A monthly report of the inquiries the site sent you.

Which pages come first is the part that changes by season. Before the spring and summer run we put the pages a homeowner reads on the night they book a measure ahead of everything else. See the install-season board.

The plan and what it costs

Who the plan doesn’t suit

  • Businesses outside Canada. Every page, price and legal document is written for Canada.
  • Homeowners. The plan is sold to businesses only.
  • Companies that need an online shop with checkout, or a product database synced with a manufacturer’s system.
  • Anyone who wants promised rankings or a set number of leads. Nobody can honestly promise those.
  • Businesses that want someone to write all their content. You supply the words, photos and prices; we lay them out.

Not sure which one you are?

Most businesses sit across two of these. On a short call we look at how you actually sell and sketch the page structure that fits. Nothing is signed on the call.

CA$249 a month plus a CA$499 setup fee, plus applicable taxes, 12-month minimum term.
